Tor Magne Andreassen
Nordland Fylkeskommune, NFK Opplæringssenter, is one out of 19 counties in Norway. The county is responsible for higher secondary-, apprentices-, further/adult education, culture, dental care, transport services, business development and international work. The Opplæringssenter is the county`s educational department in charge of education, apprenticeships and international work related to education. International co-operation within education is an important field of work in which the EU-initiatives, including the Baltic countries, and the Barents co-operation have high priority. The County Council has also established its own office in Brussels in order to make Nordland a more active and competent region with regard to European co-operation. Approx. 3500 people work for Nordland County Council.
Tor Magne Andreassen is the local co-ordinator for the EUROVOLT project at the Nordland Educational Department. He is a long-term experienced online editor, language trainer, teacher trainer at various in-service courses and developer of online language courses and has lectured at teacher training courses at the Bodø Regional University. He has also been partner in Socrates programmes and is well familiar with Blended Learning/Teaching Concepts as well as a specialist in Content Based Teaching etc. for different target groups. He collaborates with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Programme for Teacher Education (PLU) and the other EUROVOLT project partners.
